Terms and conditions

These terms apply to the rental of attractions, games and food stands by Luxferia s.à r.l. (brand Spill.lu), 23 an der Gaass, L-9150 Eschdorf, Luxembourg, to private customers, companies, councils, clubs and schools. In case of doubt, the German version is authoritative.

1. Offer and contract

Details and prices on the website are non-binding. An enquiry via the website is not yet a booking. The contract is only concluded once we confirm your booking in writing (e.g. by email). The content of that confirmation is authoritative.

2. Prices and payment

For private customers, all prices are final prices including statutory VAT. For companies and public clients, prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Delivery, set-up and take-down are included where stated in the confirmation; long journeys may be charged separately.

Payment is made as stated in our confirmation or invoice.

3. Hirer’s obligations

The hirer provides a level, clean, freely accessible area of sufficient size, the necessary vehicle access and the agreed power connection (230 V or 380 V). Unless agreed otherwise, the hirer obtains any official permits required for public events.

If an attraction is provided without our staff (e.g. a bouncy castle), the hirer must use it according to our instructions and ensure that children are supervised by an adult at all times. The rules of use on site must be followed.

4. Weather and safety

In strong wind, thunderstorms or other danger, we or our staff may and must interrupt operation. A weather-related interruption during the event does not reduce the price.

5. Cancellation by the hirer

Cancellations must be made in writing. Depending on when you cancel, cancellation costs may apply, in particular if we can no longer rebook the date or have already incurred costs. The hirer may prove that our loss was lower.

The statutory rights of consumers remain unaffected.

6. Liability

We are liable for damage caused intentionally or negligently by us or our staff. For personal injury we are liable in accordance with the law. The hirer is liable for damage to the rented equipment caused during the rental period by the hirer or their guests, except for normal wear and tear.

7. Force majeure

If we cannot deliver due to force majeure (e.g. severe weather, an official ban, an accident on the way), we are released from our obligation. Amounts already paid will be refunded or credited to a new date.

8. Final provisions

Luxembourg law applies. For companies and public clients, the place of jurisdiction is Diekirch. Consumers retain the mandatory protection of their country of residence. If any provision is invalid, the others remain valid.
